The painting that started it all.
8×8" watercolor on paper, floating in a modern black glass frame – no mat, just pure elegance.
Painted in the recliner, late at night, when I was still too scared to call myself an artist. This quiet white rose became the symbol of surrender, purity, and new beginnings that launched everything that followed.
One of a kind. When it’s gone, it’s gone forever.

White Rose – Framed Original Watercolor (One Only)
The Story Behind White Rose
This is the one that started everything.
Painted late at night in my recliner with a travel watercolor set while the house was quiet. I was 50, apprehensive, and had never shown anyone my art.
White Rose was my quiet act of surrender — purity, hope, and the courage to finally begin.
It became the first piece in the Rose Series and the symbol that launched MidLifeArtist.
Original watercolor on paper,
8×8" Completed in 2023 in secret Now floating in its forever black glass frame (or living on your wall as a signed print).
