commissions

As a MidLifeArtist, I occasionally open limited spots for custom commissions that align with my style and themes — portraits of heroes, emotional landscapes, or personal stories that move you. Commissions are selective and limited to 2–3 per quarter to ensure each piece gets the time and passion it deserves. If your vision resonates with my work, I'd love to hear from you.
The Process:
What to Know
01
Bright Ideas
Do you have a story or vision that fits my style (e.g., heroic portraits, nature-inspired scenes, fantasy or Biblical)? Can you can envision it on the wall in your bedroom or living space- or maybe as a gift for a beloved family member or friend?
03
Pricing varies
Starting around $500 for small pieces (up to 200 square inches) and $3,000+ for larger works (24×30" or more). Prices vary by complexity, medium, and size. All commissions are subject to my availability and artistic discretion.
05
Quote & contract
Based on the consultation details, I will provide a quote in the form of a commission contract with total price for the artwork with a specific lead time for completion (generally 4-8 weeks depending on complexity). A signed contract + 50% deposit is required to initiate the commission. The contract outlines the scope of the work, payment, timeline, revisions, copyright and cancellation. Framing & shipping aren't included but can be optioned at additional cost.
02
Request Requirements
Review my Gallery and then be prepared to describe your idea, share your budget, your timeline and any resources such as reference photos. Additionally, please share if you prefer watercolor, acrylic or oil on canvas or drawing (graphite, charcoal or pastel). It's okay to not have all these answers at this stage.
04
Consultation
Commission requests are submitted by form below. Within 7-10 business days I will respond if it's a good fit. If it is, I will arrange a consultation to go over details around size, media, resources and inspiration via your preferred contact method.
